Still, he declared his intention to produce the follow-up soon.

According to recent sources, the theatrical re-release of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu has generated significant income. The film centers on DCP Raghavan’s hunt of two serial murderers and stars Kamal Haasan, Jyothika, and Kamalinee Mukherjee in key roles, with Prakash Raj, Daniel Balaji, and Salim Baig in supporting parts.

The film, which received praise for its compelling story, benefited from Harris Jayaraj’s orchestral arrangements and Thamarai’s lyrics. Its visual appeal was further enhanced by Anthony’s editing and Ravi Varman’s cinematography. Notably, one of the first Indian movies to be filmed in Super 35 format was Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.
